This was truly the ultimate way to see Morocco. Having twelve days gave us enough time to experience so many different sides of the country without feeling like we were constantly rushing from one place to another. We loved the blue streets of Chefchaouen, the atmosphere of Tangier and Asilah, the history of Fes and Marrakech, and, of course, spending the night in the Sahara Desert. The desert camp was one of the highlights of our trip. Watching the sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes and then sitting around the campfire under the stars was an unforgettable experience. We especially appreciated ending the journey in Essaouira, where we could slow down and enjoy the ocean, medina, and relaxed atmosphere.

From the first pickup in Casablanca to the final drive back, everything was very well organized. Our driver was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the journey. By the end of the trip, he genuinely felt more like a friend than a driver. One of the things we appreciated most was the flexibility of having a private tour. Whenever we wanted to spend a little more time somewhere, take additional photos, or make a short stop along the way, the itinerary could be adjusted without any problem. The camel ride into the Sahara and our night at the desert camp were unforgettable, while the free day in Essaouira was the perfect way to finish such a busy trip. We could explore the medina, walk along the beach, and enjoy a relaxed seafood dinner before returning to Casablanca.

We covered a lot of Morocco during these twelve days, but the itinerary was designed well enough that we never felt excessively rushed. Each destination offered something completely different, from the blue mountain streets of Chefchaouen to the historic medinas of Fes and Marrakech and the dramatic landscapes of the Sahara and High Atlas Mountains. We particularly enjoyed some of the less obvious stops. Asilah was a lovely surprise, with its whitewashed streets and Atlantic views, while Tangier offered a completely different atmosphere from the other Moroccan cities. The journey through the desert and the Todra Gorge was spectacular, and Ait Ben Haddou was another highlight. Having some free time in Essaouira at the end gave us the opportunity to slow down and enjoy Morocco at a more relaxed pace.
